Images of drug products as well as drug packages are available within Clinical Pharmacology. In addition, information regarding the previous appearance (version) of a drug product with images, in some cases, is available. These images are associated the detailed product information and are presented within the results of the Drug IDentifier feature.
To find images, look up the specific product information from the main search box. Select the product from search results, which will take you to a navigation page. Scroll down to the View Products section, towards the bottom of the page. (NOTE this is the most direct way to the product specific information) or click the How Supplied link under the monograph section.
If the product is readily available, you may be able to search using the Find By NDC. Go to the Find/List, then select "By NDC". Enter the NDC and select the product to view the details - including a description so even if there is not an image available you can still see the physical description to ensure the correct product.
