You can search for drug monographs that include certain contraindication/precautions by using the Find By Contraindication/Precaution search. From the results of this search you could begin a Multiple Criteria search including another Contraindication/Precaution search or add Indication or Adverse Reaction searches.

Click (Find/List menu), and select By Contraindication/Precaution.
From the text box enter an contraindication/precaution (e.g., hypertension). As you type the letters into the search text box, Clinical Pharmacology presents options for searching.
Select one of the suggested terms, by highlighting the term and clicking on it or hit the ENTER key.
A list of monograph links display for the selected contraindication/precaution. This list is separated into monographs that are considered absolutely contraindicated and those where there is a precaution for the use of this drug. There are links to allow you to jump in between these 2 sections of the result list.
The specific contraindication/precaution displays at the top in red.
In the upper right you have the option of starting a multiple criteria report with the results you currently have showing.
Click a monograph link from the list to link directly to the specific discussion of the term within the Contraindication/Precaution section of the monograph.
The occurrence of the selected indication text displays in a yellow highlight.
Use your scroll bar on the right to view the Contraindication/Precaution discussion for the selected drug or view and jump to other sections of the Contraindication/Precaution section by clicking on the terms in the Contraindication/Precaution List drop-down menu. At the end of the Contraindication/Precaution discussion, the Last Revision date is noted.

From the "Contraindications/Precautions" monograph discussion, you can navigate to the following:
Open other sections of the monograph utilizing blue monograph navigation buttons.
Print one or more sections of the monograph. You do not have to print the entire monograph.
View all the MEDcounselor Sheets (patient drug information) for the specific drug monograph.
Begin a Report. If you go directly to Drug Interactions or Adverse Reactions Report from anywhere in a monograph that drug will automatically be added to the criteria list for the report.
Search using the Search from the Control Panel.
Perform another Find By search or view lists using the Find/List drop-down menu.
Use the Resource Center.
